Translation

A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Ahmad Bin Haroun, from Mowfaq Al Madainy, from his father, from his grandfather who said, ‘Al-Maazyasws (7th Imamasws) sent for me one day, so heasws made me sit for the lunch. So when they came with the meal, there were no vegetables upon it. So heasws restrained hisasws hand, then said to the slave: ‘Do you no know that Iasws do not eat upon a food-spread in which there is no greenery? So bring me the greens’. So the slave went and came with the vegetables and placed it upon the food-spread. So heasws extended hisasws hand at that time and ate’.
