سَأَلَ رَجُلٌ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) عَنِ الْبَقْلِ الْهِنْدَبَاءِ وَ الْبَاذَرُوجِ وَ الْجِرْجِيرِ فَقَالَ الْهِنْدَبَاءُ وَ وَ الْبَاذَرُوجُ لَنَا وَ الْجِرْجِيرُ لِبَنِي أُمَيَّةَ .
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Musa Bin Al Hassan, from Ahmad Bin Suleyman, from his father, from Abu Baseer who said, ‘A man asked Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> about the vegetable, the endive and the sweet basil and the watercress. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘The endive and the sweet basil is for us<sup>asws</sup> and the watercress is for the Clan of Umayya’.
