John Shaqi

الْقَرْعُ لَيْسَ يُذَكَّى فَكُلُوهُ وَ لَا تَذْبَحُوهُ وَ لَا يَسْتَهْوِيَنَّكُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ لَعَنَهُ اللَّهُ .


Translation

Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Al Nowfaly, from Al Sakuny, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> that Amir Al-Momineen<sup>asws</sup> was asked about the pumpkin to be slaughtered. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘The pumpkin is not to be slaughtered. So eat it, and do not slaughter it, do not let the Satan<sup>la</sup> tempt you all, may Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Curse him<sup>la</sup>’.
