عَلَيْكُمْ بِالسَّلْجَمِ فَكُلُوهُ وَ أَدِيمُوا أَكْلَهُ وَ اكْتُمُوهُ إِلَّا عَنْ أَهْلِهِ فَمَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ إِلَّا وَ بِهِ عِرْقٌ مِنَ الْجُذَامِ فَأَذِيبُوهُ بِأَكْلِهِ .
Translation
From him, from Al Hassan Bin Al Husayn, from Muhamad Bin Sinan, from the one who mentioned it, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘It is upon you with (eating) the turnips, so eat these and be habitual in eating it, and conceal it except from its deserving one, for there is no one except with him is a vein of the leprosy, therefore melt it by eating it’.
