قُلْتُ لِأَبِي الْحَسَنِ ( عليه السلام ) إِنَّا نَأْكُلُ الْأُشْنَانَ فَقَالَ كَانَ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ ( عليه السلام ) إِذَا تَوَضَّأَ ضَمَّ شَفَتَيْهِ وَ فِيهِ خِصَالٌ تُكْرَهُ إِنَّهُ يُورِثُ السِّلَّ وَ يَذْهَبُ بِمَاءِ الظَّهْرِ وَ يُوهِي الرُّكْبَتَيْنِ فَقُلْتُ فَالطِّينُ فَقَالَ كُلُّ طِينٍ حَرَامٌ مِثْلُ الْمَيْتَةِ وَ الدَّمِ وَ لَحْمِ الْخِنْزِيرِ إِلَّا طِينَ قَبْرِ الْحُسَيْنِ ( عليه السلام ) فَإِنَّ فِيهِ شِفَاءً مِنْ كُلِّ دَاءٍ وَ لَكِنْ لَا يُكْثَرُ مِنْهُ وَ فِيهِ أَمَانٌ مِنْ كُلِّ خَوْفٍ .
Translation
One of our companions, from Ja’far Bin Ibrahim Al Hazramy, from Sa’ad who said, ‘I said to Abu Al-Hassan<sup>asws</sup>, ‘I eat the saltwort’. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Abu Al-Hassan<sup>asws</sup>, when he<sup>asws</sup> performed ablution (with saltwort), closed his<sup>asws</sup> lips, and in it is an abhorrent quality, it inherits the tuberculosis, and does away with the water of the back, and weakens the knees’. So I said, ‘So (what about) the clay?’ So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Every clay is Prohibited (to eat), like the dead, and the blood, and the flesh of the swine, except for the clay of the grave of Al-Husayn<sup>asws</sup>, for therein is a healing from every illness, but do not frequent from it, and in it is a security from every fear’.
