كَانَ أَبِي ( عليه السلام ) يَكْرَهُ أَنْ يَتَدَاوَى بِالْمَاءِ الْمُرِّ وَ بِمَاءِ الْكِبْرِيتِ وَ كَانَ يَقُولُ إِنَّ نُوحاً ( عليه السلام ) لَمَّا كَانَ الطُّوفَانُ دَعَا الْمِيَاهَ فَأَجَابَتْهُ كُلُّهَا إِلَّا الْمَاءَ الْمُرَّ وَ مَاءَ الْكِبْرِيتِ فَدَعَا عَلَيْهِمَا وَ لَعَنَهُمَا .
Translation
A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin ZIyad, from Muhammad Bin Sinan, from the one who mentioned it, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘My<sup>asws</sup> father<sup>asws</sup> used to dislike healing with the bitter water, or with sulphuric water, and he<sup>asws</sup> was saying: ‘Noah<sup>as</sup>, when it was during the flood, called the waters, so all of them responded except for the bitter water and the sulphuric water, so he<sup>as</sup> supplicated against the two, and cursed them both’.
