John Shaqi

قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ وَ أَنْزَلْنا مِنَ السَّماءِ ماءً بِقَدَرٍ فَأَسْكَنَّاهُ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَ إِنَّا عَلى ذَهابٍ بِهِ لَقادِرُونَ فَقَالَ يَعْنِي مَاءَ الْعَقِيقِ .


Translation

From him, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Al Abbas Bin Marouf, from Al Nowfaly from Al Yaqouby, from Isa Bin Abdullah, from Suleyman Bin Ja’far having said: ‘Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> said regarding the Words of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:23#h18"><a href="/books/quran:23#h18">[23:18]</a></a> And We send down water from the sky according to a measure, then We Settle it in the earth, and We are able to Take it away</span>. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Meaning the water of the ravines’.
