Translation

Humeyd Bin Ziyad, from Al Hassan Bin Muhammad Bin Sama’at, from someone else, from Aban Bin Usma, from Hammad Bin Bashir, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullahasws having said: ‘Rasool-Allahsaww said: ‘The one who drinks the wine after Allahazwj the High having Prohibited it upon mysaww tongue, so he is not deserving of being married to when he proposes, nor to be ratified when he narrates, nor interceded for when there is intercession, nor relied upon an entrustment. So the one who trusts him upon an entrustment, so he devours it or wastes it, so it is not for the one who entrusted him, upon Allahazwj Mighty and Majestic that Heazwj Rewards him or Compensates him’. And Abu Abdullahasws said: ‘Iasws wanted to barter (trade) some goods to Yemen, so Iasws went to Abu Ja’farasws and said to himasws, ‘Iasws intend to send so and so for bartering goods’. So heasws said to me: ‘But, do youasws not know that he drinks the wine?’ So I said, ‘It has reached me from the Believers, they are saying that’. So heasws said to me: ‘Ratify them, for Allahazwj Mighty and Majestic is Saying <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:9#h61"><a href="/books/quran:9#h61">[9:61]</a></a> he believes in Allah and has faith in the Believers</span>’. Then heasws said: ‘If youasws were to send him for trading so if he destroys it or wasters it, so it would not be for youasws upon Allahazwj Mighty and Majestic that Heazwj Recompenses you nor Compensates upon youasws. So if youasws were to send him for barter and he wastes it, and youasws were to supplicate to Allahazwj Mighty and Majestic: ‘Recompense measws!’ Heasws said: ‘O myasws son! No, it is not for youasws upon Allahazwj that Heazwj Recompenses you, nor that Heazwj Compensates’. Heasws said: ‘Iasws said to himasws: ‘And why is that so?’ So heasws said: ‘Allahazwj Mighty and Majestic is Saying <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:4#h5"><a href="/books/quran:4#h5">[4:5]</a></a> And do not give away your property to the foolish which Allah has made for you a (means of) support</span>. So, do youasws know of any one more foolish that the wine drinker?’ Heasws said: ‘Then heasws said: ‘The servant does not cease to be in a leeway from Allahazwj Mighty and Majestic until he drinks the wine. So when he drinks it, Allahazwj Mighty and Majestic Tears down his protective covering, and his guardian and his brother would be Ibleesla, may Allahazwj Curse himla, and be his hearing, and his vision, and his hands, and his feet, ushering him to every straying, and exchange him from every goodness’.
