أَسْلَمَ أَبُو طَالِبٍ بِحِسَابِ الْجُمَّلِ وَ عَقَدَ بِيَدِهِ ثَلَاثاً وَ سِتِّينَ .

محمد بن یحیی، احمد اور عبداللہ سے، جو محمد بن عیسیٰ کے دو بیٹے ہیں، اپنے والد سے، عبداللہ بن مغیرہ سے، اسماعیل بن ابی زیاد سے، ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کرتے ہیں، جنہوں نے فرمایا: ابو طالب نے حسابِ جُمَّل کے مطابق اسلام قبول کیا، اور اس نے اپنے ہاتھ سے تریسٹھ بنایا۔
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad and Abdullah, two sons of Muhammad Bin Isa, from their father, from Abdullah Bin Al Mugheira, from Ismail Bin Abu Ziyad, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Abu Talib<sup>asws</sup> professed to Al-Islam by the accounting of Al-Jummal (Use of alphabetical letters in accordance to their numerical value)’, and he<sup>asws</sup> formed ‘sixty three’ with his<sup>asws</sup> hands’.
