قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ( عليه السلام ) الشِّطْرَنْجُ وَ النَّرْدُ هُمَا الْمَيْسِرُ .
Translation
A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Ibn Abu Najran, from Musny Al Hannat, from Abu Baseer, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Amir Al-Momineen<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘The chess and the dice, are both (classified as) the gambling’.
