Translation

A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ibn Mahboub, from Ibn Fazzal, altogether from Yunus Bin Yaqoub, from Abu Baseer who said, ‘It (news) reached Amir Al-Momineenasws that Talha and Al-Zubeyr were both saying, ‘There is not for Aliasws, any wealth’. He (the narrator) said, ‘So that was grievous upon himasws, so heasws ordered hisasws representatives that they should gather hisasws harvest until when a year passes by, to bring it to himasws, and there had gathered from the price of the harvest, one hundred thousand Dirhams. So heasws had it displayed in front of himasws and sent a messenger to Talha and Al-Zubayr. So he brought both of them to himasws. So heasws said to them both: ‘This wealth, by Allahazwj, is for measws, there not being a share for anyone else in it’, and they had both verified it’. So they both left from hisasws presence, and they were both saying, ‘Heasws does have wealth for himasws’.
