الشُّهْرَةُ خَيْرُهَا وَ شَرُّهَا فِي النَّارِ .

ہمارے کئی اصحاب نے احمد بن محمد بن خالد سے، انہوں نے عثمان بن عیسیٰ سے، انہوں نے جس نے ذکر کیا اس سے، انہوں نے ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کی، آپ نے فرمایا: شہرت — اس کی بھلائی اور اس کی برائی — آگ (جہنم) میں ہے۔
Translation
A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Khalid, from Usman Bin Isa, from the one who mentioned it, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘The fame (seeker), the good of it and the evil of it, are in the Fire’.
