قُتِلَ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ( عليه السلام ) وَ عَلَيْهِ جُبَّةُ خَزٍّ دَكْنَاءُ فَوَجَدُوا فِيهَا ثَلَاثَةً وَ سِتِّينَ مِنْ بَيْنِ ضَرْبَةٍ بِالسَّيْفِ وَ طَعْنَةٍ بِالرُّمْحِ أَوْ رَمْيَةٍ بِالسَّهْمِ .

ابو علی الاشعری نے محمد بن سالم سے، انہوں نے احمد بن النضر سے، انہوں نے عمرو بن شمر سے، انہوں نے جابر سے، انہوں نے ابو جعفر علیہ السلام سے روایت کی کہ آپ نے فرمایا: حسین بن علی علیہما السلام کو شہید کیا گیا اور ان پر خز کا گہرے رنگ کا جبہ تھا، پس انہوں نے اس میں تریسٹھ (زخم) پائے، جن میں تلوار کی ضربیں، نیزے کے وار اور تیر کے زخم شامل تھے۔
Translation
Abu Ali Al Ashary, from Muhammad Bin Salim, from Ahmad Bin Al Nazar, from Amro Bin Shimr, from Jabir, (It has been narrated) from Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Al-Husayn<sup>asws</sup> Bin Ali<sup>asws</sup> was killed and upon him<sup>asws</sup> was a coat of dark <span class="iTxt">Khazz</span>, so they found therein sixty three tears from the strikes with the sword, and the stabbings with the spear, or the shootings with the arrow’.
