أَمَرَنِي أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) أَنْ أَشْتَرِيَ لَهُ إِزَاراً فَقُلْتُ لَهُ إِنِّي لَسْتُ أُصِيبُ إِلَّا وَاسِعاً قَالَ اقْطَعْ مِنْهُ وَ كُفَّهُ قَالَ ثُمَّ قَالَ إِنَّ أَبِي قَالَ وَ مَا جَاوَزَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ فَفِي النَّارِ . مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ فَضَّالٍ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ يَعْقُوبَ مِثْلَهُ .
Translation
A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Muhammad Bin Isa, from Yunus Bin Yaqoub, from Abdullah Bin Yaqoub, from Abdullah Bin Hilal who said, ‘Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> ordered me that I should buy a trouser for him<sup>asws</sup>. So I said to him<sup>asws</sup>, ‘I could not find except for the extensive ones’. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Cut off from it and hem it’. He (the narrator) said, ‘Then he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘My<sup>asws</sup> father<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘And whatever exceeds the two heels, so it is in the Fire’. <span style="font-size: small">Muhammad Bin yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ibn Fazzal, from yunus Bin Yaqoub</span> – similar to it’.
