كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) يَلْبَسُ قَلَنْسُوَةً بَيْضَاءَ مُضَرَّبَةً وَ كَانَ يَلْبَسُ فِي الْحَرْبِ قَلَنْسُوَةً لَهَا أُذُنَانِ .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from one of his companions, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> used to wear a white quilted cap, and he<sup>saww</sup> was wearing it during the battle, a cape which had two ear-coverings for it’.
