حَدَّثَنِي إِسْحَاقُ الْحَذَّاءُ قَالَ أَرْسَلَ إِلَيَّ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) وَ نَحْنُ بِمِنًى ائْتِنِي وَ مَعَكَ كِنْفُكَ قَالَ فَأَتَيْتُهُ فِي مِضْرَبِهِ فَسَلَّمْتُ عَلَيْهِ فَرَدَّ عَلَيَّ وَ أَوْمَأَ إِلَيَّ أَنِ اجْلِسْ فَجَلَسْتُ ثُمَّ تَنَاوَلَ نَعْلًا جَدِيداً فَرَمَى بِهَا إِلَيَّ فَلَمَّا أَرَدْتُ أَنْ أَذْهَبَ قُلْتُ جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ لَوْ وَهَبْتَ لِي هَذِهِ النَّعْلَ وَ كُنْتُ أَحْذُو عَلَيْهَا فَرَمَى إِلَيَّ بِالْفَرْدِ الْآخَرِ فَقَالَ وَاحِدَةٌ أَيُّ شَيْءٍ تَنْفَعُكَ قَالَ وَ كَانَتْ مُعَقَّبَةً مُخَصَّرَةً مِنْ وَسَطِهَا لَهَا قِبَالَانِ وَ لَهَا رُءُوسٌ فَقَالَ هَذَا حَذْوُ النَّبِيِّ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) .
Translation
A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Abu Abdullah, from Abu Al Khazraj Al Hassan Bin Al Zabarqan Al Ansary, from Is’haq Al Haza’a who said, ‘Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> sent for me and we were at Mina: ‘Come to me<sup>asws</sup> and with you are your tools’. So I went over to him<sup>asws</sup> in his<sup>asws</sup> tent. I greeted him<sup>asws</sup> and he<sup>asws</sup> responded to me, and gestured to me that I should be seated. So I sat down. Then he<sup>asws</sup> gave me a new sandal, and gave it at me. So when I wanted to go, I said, ‘May I be sacrificed for you<sup>asws</sup> ! If only you<sup>asws</sup> would gift these sandals to me, and I can replicate upon this’. So he<sup>asws</sup> gave with the other one, so he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘One, which benefit can it give you?’ He (the narrator) said, ‘And it was such that it has a support for the heel, narrow from its middle, and for it were two straps, and for it were heads. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘This is a shoe (footwear) of the Prophet<sup>saww</sup>’.
