نَظَرَ إِلَيَّ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ ( عليه السلام ) وَ عَلَيَّ نَعْلَانِ مَمْسُوحَتَانِ فَأَخَذَهُمَا وَ قَلَبَهُمَا ثُمَّ قَالَ لِي أَ تُرِيدُ أَنْ تَهَوَّدَ قَالَ قُلْتُ جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ إِنَّمَا وَهَبَهُمَا لِي إِنْسَانٌ قَالَ فَلَا بَأْسَ .
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ali Bin Al Hakam, from Aban Bin Usman, form one of our companions, from Ali Bin Suweyd who said, ‘Abu Al-Hassan<sup>asws</sup> looked at me and upon me were sandals, both Al-<span class="iTxt">Mamsouh </span>(flat without curve before the heal). So he<sup>asws</sup> took them both and turned them, then said: ‘Do you intend to be a (like a) Jew?’ I said, ‘May I be sacrificed for you<sup>asws</sup>! But rather, these were gifted to me by a person’. He<sup>asws</sup>, ‘So there is no problem’.
