سَأَلْتُ أَبَا الْحَسَنِ الرِّضَا ( عليه السلام ) عَنْ نَقْشِ خَاتَمِهِ وَ خَاتَمِ أَبِيهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ نَقْشُ خَاتَمِي مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ وَ نَقْشُ خَاتَمِ أَبِي حَسْبِيَ اللَّهُ وَ هُوَ الَّذِي كُنْتُ أَتَخَتَّمُ بِهِ .
Translation
From him, form his father, from Yunus Bin Abdul Rahman who said, ‘I asked Abu Al-Hassan Al-Reza<sup>asws</sup> about the engraving on his<sup>asws</sup> ring and the ring of his<sup>asws</sup> father<sup>asws</sup>. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘The engraving on my<sup>asws</sup> ring is: “Whatever Allah<sup>azwj</sup> so Desires. There is no Strength except by Allah<sup>azwj</sup>”; and the engraving of the ring of my father<sup>asws</sup> is: “Allah<sup>azwj</sup> is Sufficient”, and it is which I (the narrator) used to wear with’.
