Translation

10. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn abu ‘Abd Allah from his father from Muhammad ibn Sinan from Hammad ibn ‘Uthaman from Rib‘iy from al-Fudayl ibn Yasar who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, about a bed which has gold in it; if it is proper to keep it in the house. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not unlawful if it is golden; but if it is gold then it is not lawful.’”
