محمد بن یحییٰ، عن علی بن اسماعیل، عن محمد بن عمرو الزیات، عن رجلٍ من اصحابنا، عن ابی عبداللہ علیہ السلام، قال: بے شک جبرائیل علیہ السلام محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ پر نازل ہوئے اور ان سے کہا: “اے محمد، بے شک اللہ آپ کو ایک بچے کی بشارت دیتا ہے جو فاطمہ سے پیدا ہوگا، جسے آپ کی امت آپ کے بعد قتل کرے گی۔” تو انہوں نے فرمایا: “اے جبرائیل، اور میرے رب پر سلام ہو؛ مجھے اس بچے کی کوئی حاجت نہیں جو فاطمہ سے پیدا ہو اور جسے میری امت میرے بعد قتل کرے۔” پھر وہ اوپر گئے، پھر علیہ السلام نازل ہوئے اور اسی طرح ان سے کہا۔ تو انہوں نے فرمایا: “اے جبرائیل، اور میرے رب پر سلام ہو؛ مجھے ایسے بچے کی کوئی حاجت نہیں جسے میری امت میرے بعد قتل کرے۔” پھر جبرائیل علیہ السلام آسمان کی طرف چڑھے، پھر نازل ہوئے اور فرمایا: “اے محمد، بے شک آپ کا رب آپ کو سلام کہتا ہے اور آپ کو بشارت دیتا ہے کہ وہ اس کی نسل میں امامت، ولایت اور وصایت قرار دے گا۔” تو انہوں نے فرمایا: “میں راضی ہوں۔” پھر انہوں نے فاطمہ کی طرف پیغام بھیجا کہ اللہ مجھے ایک بچے کی بشارت دیتا ہے جو تم سے پیدا ہوگا، جسے میری امت میرے بعد قتل کرے گی۔ تو انہوں نے جواب بھیجا: “مجھے اپنے سے ایسے بچے کی کوئی حاجت نہیں جسے آپ کی امت آپ کے بعد قتل کرے۔” پھر انہوں نے ان کی طرف پیغام بھیجا کہ اللہ نے اس کی نسل میں امامت، ولایت اور وصایت قرار دی ہے۔ تو انہوں نے جواب بھیجا: “میں راضی ہوں۔” پس اس کی ماں نے اسے مشقت کے ساتھ حمل میں رکھا اور مشقت کے ساتھ اسے جنا، اور اس کا حمل اور دودھ چھڑانا تیس مہینے تھے۔ یہاں تک کہ جب وہ اپنی پوری قوت کو پہنچا اور چالیس سال کا ہوا تو اس نے کہا: “اے میرے رب، مجھے توفیق دے کہ میں تیری اس نعمت کا شکر ادا کروں جو تو نے مجھ پر اور میرے والدین پر کی ہے، اور یہ کہ میں ایسا نیک عمل کروں جس سے تو راضی ہو، اور میری اولاد میں میرے لیے اصلاح فرما۔” اور اگر انہوں نے یہ نہ فرمایا ہوتا: "میرے لیے میری اولاد میں اصلاح فرما دے"، تو ان کی تمام اولاد امام ہوتی۔ الحسین نے فاطمہ علیہا السلام سے دودھ نہیں پیا، اور نہ ہی کسی عورت سے۔ انہیں نبی کے پاس لایا جاتا، اور وہ اپنا انگوٹھا ان کے منہ میں رکھ دیتے، پھر وہ اس سے اتنا چوستے جو انہیں دو یا تین دن کے لیے کافی ہوتا۔ پس الحسین علیہ السلام کا گوشت رسول اللہ کے گوشت اور ان کے خون سے نشوونما پایا۔ اور چھ ماہ میں کوئی پیدا نہیں ہوا سوائے عیسیٰ بن مریم علیہ السلام اور الحسین بن علی علیہ السلام کے۔ اور ایک دوسری روایت میں ابو الحسن الرضا علیہ السلام سے ہے: الحسین کو نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ کے پاس لایا جاتا، اور وہ اپنی زبان ان کے منہ میں رکھتے، اور وہ اسے چوستے اور اسی سے کفایت کر لیتے؛ اور انہوں نے کسی عورت سے دودھ نہیں پیا۔

Translation

Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ali Bin Ismail, from Muhammad Bin Amro Al Zayyat, from a man from our comanions, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah^asws having said: ‘Jibraeel^as descended unto Muhammad^saww and said to him^saww: ‘O Muhammad^saww! Allah^azwj Give you^saww glad tidings that (Syeda) Fatima^asws will be Blessed with the one^asws who Your^saww community will kill after you^saww’. So he^saww said: ‘O Jibraeel^saww, and upon my^saww Lord^azwj be the greetings! Why there is a need for me^saww regarding a son^asws whom my^saww community would be killing after me^saww’. So he^as ascended, then descended, and said to him^saww the likes of that. So he^saww said: ‘O Jibraeel^as! And upon my^saww Lord^azwj be the greetings! Why there is a need for me^saww regarding a birth whom my^saww community would be killing, from after me^saww’. So Jibraeel^as ascended to the sky, then descended, so he^as said: ‘O Muhammad^saww! Your^saww Lord^azwj Conveys the greetings and Gives you^saww that He^azwj would be Making to be Imams^asws in his^asws offspring, and the Wilayah, and the successorship’. So he^saww said: ‘I^saww have been pleased’. Then he^saww sent a message to (Syeda) Fatima^asws: ‘Allah^azwj Gives you^asws glad tidings that you^asws will be Blessed (with a son). My^saww community would be killing him^asws after me^saww’. So she^asws sent a message to him^saww: ‘Why there is a need for me^asws having the one^asws who would be killed by your^saww community after you^saww’. So he^saww sent a message to her^asws: ‘Allah^azwj has Made to be in his^asws offspring, the Imamate, and the Wilayah, and the succesorship’. So she^asws sent a message to him^saww: ‘I^asws have been pleased’. <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:46#h15"><a href="/books/quran:46#h15">[46:15]</a></a> with abhorrence did his mother bear him and with abhorrence did she bring him forth; and the bearing of him and the weaning of him was thirty months</span>. When he^asws reached strength and reached forty years of age, he^asws said: ‘Lord^azwj! Advise me^asws to thank for Your^azwj Bounties which You^azwj have Favoured upon me^asws and upon my^asws parents, and the righteous deeds You^azwj would be Pleased with, and Correct for me^asws among my^asws offspring’. And had he^asws not said ‘Correct for me^asws among my^asws offspring’, it would have been so that his^asws offspring, all of them would have been Imams^asws. And Al-Husayn<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> did not take milk from Fatima<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup>, nor from a (another) woman. He<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> used to be brought to the Prophet<sup style="font-weight: normal">saww</sup>, so he<sup style="font-weight: normal">saww</sup> would place his<sup style="font-weight: normal">saww</sup> thumb in his<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> mouth, so he<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> would suckle from it what sufficed him<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> for two days or three. Thus, the flesh of Al-Husayn<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> was built from the flesh of Rasool-Allah<sup style="font-weight: normal">saww</sup> and his<sup style="font-weight: normal">saww</sup> blood. And there was not come in (in the world) a six months except for Isa<sup style="font-weight: normal">as</sup> Bin Maryam<sup style="font-weight: normal">as</sup> and Al-Husayn<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> Bin Ali<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup>’. And in another report from Abu Al-Hassan Al-Reza^asws: ‘The Prophet^saww, they used to come to him^saww with Al Husayn^asws, so he^saww would morsel for him^asws his^saww own tongue, so he^asws would suckle with it, and he^asws did not breastfeed from a woman’.
