John Shaqi

كُنْتُ عِنْدَ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) وَ أَنَا مَعَ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ فَسَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) وَ هُوَ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) إِنَّ الرِّيحَ الطَّيِّبَةَ تَشُدُّ الْقَلْبَ وَ تَزِيدُ فِي الْجِمَاعِ .


Translation

A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Ibn Mahboub, from Ali Bin Ra’ib who said, ‘I was in the presence of Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> and I was with Abu Baseer, so I heard Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> and he<sup>asws</sup> was saying: ‘Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> said: ‘The fragrance of the perfume strengthens the heart and increases in the copulation’.
