قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) إِذَا أُتِيَ أَحَدُكُمْ بِرَيْحَانٍ فَلْيَشَمَّهُ وَ لْيَضَعْهُ عَلَى عَيْنَيْهِ فَإِنَّهُ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ وَ إِذَا أُتِيَ أَحَدُكُمْ بِهِ فَلَا يَرُدَّهُ .
Translation
A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Isa, and Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Khalid, altogether from Ibn Mahboub, from Ibrahim Bin Mihzam, from Talha Bin Zayd, from the one who raised it, said, ‘The Prophet<sup>saww</sup> said: ‘Whenever one of you is brought the basil, so let him smell it and place it upon his eyes, for it is from the Paradise, and whenever one of you is brought it, so let him not reject it’.
