قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) أَتَانِي جَبْرَئِيلُ وَ قَالَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ يُقْرِئُكَ السَّلَامَ وَ يَنْهَى عَنْ تَزْوِيقِ الْبُيُوتِ قَالَ أَبُو بَصِيرٍ فَقُلْتُ مَا تَزْوِيقُ الْبُيُوتِ فَقَالَ تَصَاوِيرُ التَّمَاثِيلِ .
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Isa, from Muhammad Bin Khalid and Al Husayn Bin Saeed, from Al Qasim Bin Muhammad Al Jowhary, from Ali Bin Abu Hamza, from Abu Baseer, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> said: ‘Jibraeel<sup>as</sup> came unto me<sup>saww</sup> and said: ‘O Muhammad<sup>saww</sup>! Your<sup>saww</sup> Lord<sup>azwj</sup> Conveys the Greetings and Forbids from decorating the houses’. Abu Baseer said, ‘So I said, ‘What is the decoration of the houses?’ So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Pictures and the statues’.
