John Shaqi

إِنَّ جَبْرَئِيلَ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ إِنَّا لَا نَدْخُلُ بَيْتاً فِيهِ صُورَةٌ وَ لَا كَلْبٌ يَعْنِي صُورَةَ الْإِنْسَانِ وَ لَا بَيْتاً فِيهِ تَمَاثِيلُ .


Translation

Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Abdullah Bin Muhammad Bin Isa, from Ali Bin Al Hakam, from Aban Bin Usman, from Abu Baseer, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Jibraeel<sup>as</sup> said: ‘We (the Angels) neither enter a house in which there is a picture, nor a dog, meaning pictures of the humans, nor a house wherein are statues’.
