قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) ابْنِ بَيْتَكَ سَبْعَةَ أَذْرُعٍ فَمَا كَانَ فَوْقَ ذَلِكَ سَكَنَهُ الشَّيَاطِينُ إِنَّ الشَّيَاطِينَ لَيْسَتْ فِي السَّمَاءِ وَ لَا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَ إِنَّمَا تَسْكُنُ الْهَوَاءَ .
Translation
A number of our companions, from sahl Bin Ziyad, from Ja’far Bin Bashir, from Al Husayn Bin Zurara, from Muhammad Bin Muslim who said, ‘Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Build your house up to seven cubits, so whatever is above that, the Satans<sup>la</sup> would dwell in it. The Satans<sup>la</sup> are neither in the sky nor in the ground, but rather they dwell in the atmosphere’.
