كَانَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ مَا بَهِمَتِ الْبَهَائِمُ فَلَمْ تُبْهَمْ عَنْ أَرْبَعَةٍ مَعْرِفَتِهَا بِالرَّبِّ وَ مَعْرِفَتِهَا بِالْمَوْتِ وَ مَعْرِفَتِهَا بِالْأُنْثَى مِنَ الذَّكَرِ وَ مَعْرِفَتِهَا بِالْمَرْعَى عَنِ الْخِصْبِ .
اردو
علی بن الحسین (علیہ السلام) فرماتے تھے: 'جانور جتنے بھی بے عقل ہوں، انہیں چار باتوں سے بے خبر نہیں رکھا گیا: ان کی رب کی پہچان، ان کی موت کی پہچان، ان کی مادہ اور نر کی پہچان، اور ان کی چراگاہ اور سرسبز زمین کی پہچان۔'
Translation
A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Ibn Mahboub, from Ibn Raib, from Abu Hamza who said, ‘Ali<sup>asws</sup> Bin Al-Husayn<sup>asws</sup> was saying: ‘Whatever the dullness of the animals may be, but it is not dull from four (matters) – its recognition of the Lord<sup>azwj</sup>, and its recognition with the death, and its recognition with the female and the male, and its recognition with the pasture from the cultivated’.
