سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ السَّرْجِ وَ اللِّجَامِ فِيهِ الْفِضَّةُ أَ يُرْكَبُ بِهِ فَقَالَ إِنْ كَانَ مُمَوَّهاً لَا يُقْدَرُ عَلَى نَزْعِهِ فَلَا بَأْسَ وَ إِلَّا فَلَا تَرْكَبْ بِهِ .

محمد بن یحیی نے العمرکی بن علی سے، انہوں نے علی بن جعفر سے، انہوں نے اپنے بھائی ابی الحسن علیہ السلام سے روایت کی کہ آپ نے فرمایا: میں نے ان سے زین اور لگام کے بارے میں پوچھا جس پر چاندی لگی ہو — کیا اس پر سوار ہوا جا سکتا ہے؟ آپ نے فرمایا: اگر وہ ملمع کی ہوئی ہو جسے اتارنا ممکن نہ ہو تو کوئی حرج نہیں، اور اگر اتاری جا سکتی ہو تو اس پر سوار نہ ہو۔
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Al Amraky Bin Ali, (It has been narrated) from Ali<sup>asws</sup> son of Ja’far<sup>asws</sup>, from his brother<sup>asws</sup> Abu Al-Hassan<sup>asws</sup>, said, ‘I asked him<sup>asws</sup> about the saddle and the reins where is the silver, can one ride with it?’ So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘If it is coated on and you are not able to remove it, so there is no problem, otherwise do not ride with it’.
