سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) عَنْ سِمَةِ الْمَوَاشِي فَقَالَ لَا بَأْسَ بِهَا إِلَّا فِي الْوُجُوهِ .

احمد بن محمد نے ابن محبوب سے، انہوں نے عبد اللہ بن سنان سے روایت کی کہ انہوں نے کہا: میں نے ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام سے مویشیوں کو داغ لگانے کے بارے میں پوچھا تو آپ نے فرمایا: اس میں کوئی حرج نہیں، سوائے چہرے پر (داغ لگانے کے)۔
Translation
Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ibn Mahboub, from Abdullah Bin Sinan who said, ‘I asked Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> about branding the livestock, so he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘There is no problem with it except in their faces’.
