اسْتَهْدَانِي إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) فَأَهْدَيْتُ لَهُ طَيْراً رَاعِبِيّاً فَدَخَلَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) فَقَالَ اجْعَلُوا هَذَا الطَّيْرَ الرَّاعِبِيَّ مَعِي فِي الْبَيْتِ يُؤْنِسُنِي قَالَ وَ قَالَ عُثْمَانُ دَخَلْتُ عَلَى أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) وَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ حَمَامٌ يَفُتُّ لَهُنَّ خُبْزاً .
Translation
A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Bakr Bin Salih, from Muhammad Bin Abu Hamza, from Usman Al Asbahany who said, ‘Ismail son of Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> gifted (something) to me, so I gifted to him a <span class="iTxt">Raiby</span> bird (pigeon). So I went to Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> and he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Make this Raiby bird to be with me<sup>asws</sup> in the house, for it comforts me<sup>asws</sup>’. He (the narrator) said, ‘And Usman said, ‘I went over to Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> and in front of him<sup>asws</sup> was a pigeon. He<sup>asws</sup> was breaking bread for it’.
