قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ( صلوات الله عليه ) صِيَاحُ الدِّيكِ صَلَاتُهُ وَ ضَرْبُهُ بِجَنَاحِهِ رُكُوعُهُ وَ سُجُودُهُ .

ان سے اور ہمارے بہت سے اصحاب سے، سہل بن زیاد سے، سب نے مل کر، جعفر بن محمد الاشعری سے، ابن القداح سے، ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت ہے کہ انہوں نے فرمایا: امیر المومنین صلوات اللہ علیہ نے فرمایا: 'مرغ کی بانگ اس کی نماز ہے، اور اپنے پروں سے اس کا مارنا اس کا رکوع اور سجدہ ہے۔'
Translation
From him, from a number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, altogether, from Ja’far Bin Muhammad Al Ashary, from Ibn Al Qaddah, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Amir Al-Momineen<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘The shrieking of the rooster is its Prayer, and the flapping of its wings are its bowings and its prostrations’.
