John Shaqi

إِنْ كُنْتَ لَا بُدَّ مُتَّخِذاً فَاتَّخِذْ وَرَشَاناً فَإِنَّهُ كَثِيرُ الذِّكْرِ لِلَّهِ تَبَارَكَ وَ تَعَالَى .


Translation

From him, from Al Jamourany, from Ibn Abu Hamza, from sayf, from Is’haq Bin Ammar, from Abu Baseer, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> that he<sup>asws</sup> forbade his<sup>asws</sup> son Ismail from taking the ring-dove (<span class="iTxt">Fakhta</span>), and said: ‘If it was inevitable that you take, so take <span class="iTxt">Al-Warshaan</span>, for it frequents in the mentioning of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Blessed and High’.
