إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ أَدْخَلَ الْأَبَوَيْنِ عَلَى جَمِيعِ أَهْلِ الْفَرَائِضِ فَلَمْ يَنْقُصْهُمَا مِنَ السُّدُسِ لِكُلِّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا وَ أَدْخَلَ الزَّوْجَ وَ الزَّوْجَةَ عَلَى جَمِيعِ أَهْلِ الْمَوَارِيثِ فَلَمْ يَنْقُصْهُمَا مِنَ الرُّبُعِ وَ الثُّمُنِ .

بے شک اللہ عزوجل نے والدین کو تمام فرائض کے اہل (وارثوں) پر داخل کیا، پس اُن دونوں کو سدس (چھٹے حصے) سے کم نہیں کیا، ہر ایک کے لیے؛ اور اس نے شوہر اور بیوی کو تمام اہلِ میراث پر داخل کیا، پس ان دونوں کو ربع (چوتھے حصے) اور ثمن (آٹھویں حصے) سے کم نہیں کیا۔
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Dorost Bin Abu Mansour, from Abu Al Magra, from a man, from Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> has said: ‘Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic Included the two parents upon the entirety of the Obligatory (legislated inheritors), so He<sup>azwj</sup> did not Reduce the two of them from the sixth, for each one of the two, and Included the husband and the wife upon the entirety of the deserving inheritors, so He<sup>azwj</sup> did not Reduce the two of them from the quarter and the eighth’.
