Al-Kafi 13344

Translation

Al Husayn Bin Muhammad, from Moala Bin Muhammad, from Al Hassan Bin Ali, from Hammad Bin Usman who said, ‘I asked Abu Al-Hassan^asws about a man who left his mother, and his brother. He^asws said: ‘O Sheikh! Do you want (to be answered) upon the Book (Quran)?’ I said, ‘Yes’. He^asws said: ‘Ali^asws used to give the wealth to the closest (relative), so it is for the closest’. I said, ‘So the brother does not inherit anything?’ He^asws said: ‘I have informed you that Ali^asws used to give the wealth to the closest (relative), so it is for the closest.’
