John Shaqi

رَجُلٍ مَاتَ وَ تَرَكَ امْرَأَتَهُ وَ أُخْتَهُ وَ جَدَّهُ قَالَ هَذَا مِنْ أَرْبَعَةِ أَسْهُمٍ لِلْمَرْأَةِ الرُّبُعُ وَ لِلْأُخْتِ سَهْمٌ وَ لِلْجَدِّ سَهْمَانِ .


Translation

Ibn Mahboub, from Ibn Raib, from Abu Ubeyda, (It has been narrated) from Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> regarding a man who died and left his wife, and his sister, and his grandfather. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘This is from four shares – for the wife is the quarter, and for the sister is one share, and for the grandfather are two shares’.
