إِنَّ عَلِيّاً ( عليه السلام ) كَانَ يَقْضِي فِي الْمَوَارِيثِ فِيمَا أَدْرَكَ الْإِسْلَامَ مِنْ مَالِ مُشْرِكٍ تَرَكَهُ لَمْ يَكُنْ قُسِمَ قَبْلَ الْإِسْلَامِ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَجْعَلُ لِلنِّسَاءِ وَ الرِّجَالِ حُظُوظَهُمْ مِنْهُ عَلَى كِتَابِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ وَ سُنَّةِ نَبِيِّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) .
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad and a number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad and Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, altogether from Ibn Mahboub, from Ibb Raib, from Abu Hamza, (It has been narrated) from Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> having said that Ali<sup>asws</sup> had judged regarding the inheritances regarding the one who realised Al-Islam, from the wealth of the Polytheists which had been left undistributed before Al-Islam. He<sup>asws</sup> made for the women and the men, their shares, upon the Book of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic and the Sunnah of His<sup>azwj</sup> Prophet<sup>saww</sup>’.
