إِذَا شَهِدَ الشُّهُودُ عَلَى الزَّانِي أَنَّهُ قَدْ جَلَسَ مِنْهَا مَجْلِسَ الرَّجُلِ مِنِ امْرَأَتِهِ أُقِيمَ عَلَيْهِ الْحَدُّ قَالَ وَ كَانَ عَلِيٌّ ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ إِنْ أَمْكَنْتَنِي مِنَ الْمُغِيرَةِ لَأَرْمِيَنَّهُ بِالْحِجَارَةِ .

جب گواہ زانی کے خلاف یہ گواہی دیں کہ وہ اس عورت کے ساتھ مرد کی اپنی بیوی کے ساتھ بیٹھنے کی نشست میں بیٹھا، تو اس پر حد قائم کی جائے گی۔ اس نے (امام نے) کہا: اور علی علیہ السلام فرمایا کرتے تھے: اے اللہ! اگر تو نے مجھے مغیرہ پر قدرت دی، تو میں اسے ضرور پتھروں سے مار ڈالتا۔
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ali Bin Al Hakam, from Aban, from Zurara, Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> has said: ‘When the witnesses testify upon the adulterer that he sat upon her with the sitting of the man upon his wife, would establish the Penalty (<span class="iTxt">Hadd</span>) upon him’. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘And Ali<sup>asws</sup> was saying: ‘O Allah<sup>azwj</sup>! If You<sup>azwj</sup> were to Make me able over Al-Mugheira, I<sup>asws</sup> would enforce upon him with the stones’.
