سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الزَّانِي إِذَا جُلِدَ الْحَدَّ قَالَ يُنْفَى مِنَ الْأَرْضِ إِلَى بَلْدَةٍ يَكُونُ فِيهَا سَنَةً .
Translation
A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Ibn Abu Najran, from Musny Al Hanaat, (The narrator) says, ‘I asked Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> about the adulterer when he is whipped the Penalty (<span class="iTxt">Hadd</span>)’. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘He should be exiled from the land to a city to happen to be there for a year’.
