قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَضَى أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ( عليه السلام ) أَنَّ الْفِرْيَةَ ثَلَاثَةٌ يَعْنِي ثَلَاثَ وُجُوهٍ إِذْ رَمَى الرَّجُلُ الرَّجُلَ بِالزِّنَى وَ إِذَا قَالَ إِنَّ أُمَّهُ زَانِيَةٌ وَ إِذَا دُعِيَ لِغَيْرِ أَبِيهِ فَذَلِكَ فِيهِ حَدٌّ ثَمَانُونَ . عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنْ زُرْعَةَ عَنْ سَمَاعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ فِي الرَّجُلِ إِذَا قَذَفَ الْمُحْصَنَةَ قَالَ يُجْلَدُ ثَمَانِينَ حُرّاً كَانَ أَوْ مَمْلُوكاً .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrhim, from his father, from Ibn Mahboub, from Abdullah Bin Sinan who said, Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Amir Al-Momineen<sup>asws</sup> judged that the fabrications are three, meaning three aspects of it – when the man accuses the man with the adultery, and when he says that his mother is an adulteress, and when he claims that he is for other than his father. So that, regarding it is a Penalty (<span class="iTxt">Hadd</span>) of eighty (lashes)’.<a id="_ftnref675"></a><span class="bTxt"><sup>[675]</sup></span> Ali Bin Ibrahim, from Muhammad Bin Isa, from Yunus, from Zurara, from Sama’at, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> having said regarding the man when he slanders the married woman. He<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> said: ‘He would be whipped eighty lashes, whether he is free or a slave’.
