Translation

Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Hammad Bin Usman, from Al Halby, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullahasws having said: ‘When the man accepts upon himself with a Penalty (Hadd), or fabrication, then denies it, would be whipped’. I said, ‘What is your view that if he accepts with a Penalty (<span class="iTxt">Hadd</span>) upon himself, in which stoning is reached, would youasws have him stoned?’ He asws said: ‘No. But, Iasws would have whipped him’.
