Translation
A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, and Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Isa, and Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, altogether from Ibn Mahboub, from Ibn Raib, from Muhammad Bin Qays, Abu Ja’farasws has said: ‘There was a mother for Umm Salmaas, wife of the Prophetsaww, so she stole from a people. So they came with her to the Prophetsaww. So Umm Salmaas spoke to himsaww with regards to it. O Umm Salmaas! This is a Penalty (<span class="iTxt">Hadd</span>) from the Penalties of Allahazwj Mighty and Majestic, not to be wasted’. So Rasool-Allahsaww cut her’.
