قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) أَ رَأَيْتَ لَوْ أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) فَقَالَ وَ اللَّهِ مَا أَدْرِي أَ نَبِيٌّ أَنْتَ أَمْ لَا كَانَ يَقْبَلُ مِنْهُ قَالَ لَا وَ لَكِنْ كَانَ يَقْتُلُهُ إِنَّهُ لَوْ قَبِلَ ذَلِكَ مِنْهُ مَا أَسْلَمَ مُنَافِقٌ أَبَداً .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from Muhammad Bin Isa, from Abul Rahman Al Abzary Al Kunasy, from Al Haris Bin Al Mugheira who said, ‘I said to Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, ‘What is your<sup>asws</sup> view if a man came to the Prophet<sup>saww</sup>, so he said, ‘By Allah<sup>azwj</sup>! I do not know whether you<sup>saww</sup> are a Prophet<sup>saww</sup> or not, would he<sup>saww</sup> have accepted from him?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘No! But, he<sup>saww</sup> would have killed him. If he<sup>saww</sup> had accepted from him, no hypocrite would ever become a Muslim’.
