قَالَ يَلْزَمُ مَوْلَى الْعَبْدِ قِصَاصُ جِرَاحَةِ عَبْدِهِ مِنْ قِيمَةِ دِيَتِهِ عَلَى حِسَابِ ذَلِكَ يَصِيرُ أَرْشَ الْجِرَاحَةِ وَ إِذَا جَرَحَ الْحُرُّ الْعَبْدَ فَقِيمَةُ جِرَاحَتِهِ مِنْ حِسَابِ قِيمَتِهِ .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from Muhammad Bin Isa, from Yunus, from the one who reported it, said, ‘He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘It necessitates a master of the slave (to accept) the retaliation of an injury of his slave from the value of his wergild upon the accounting which comes to compensate for the injury; and when the free injures the slave, the value of his injury is from accounting of his (own) value’.
