. عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ سَمَاعَةَ قَالَ سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الْيَدِ فَقَالَ نِصْفُ الدِّيَةِ وَ فِي الْأُذُنِ نِصْفُ الدِّيَةِ إِذَا قَطَعَهَا مِنْ أَصْلِهَا .
Translation
Ali, from his father, from Ibn Fazzal, (It has been narrated) from Al-Reza<sup>asws</sup>, similar to it’. A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Khalid, from Usman Bin Isa, from Sama’at who said, ‘I asked about the hand, so he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Half the wergild, and regarding the ears, half the wergild when these are cut off from its roots’.
