شَاهِدَيْنِ شَهِدَا عَلَى امْرَأَةٍ بِأَنَّ زَوْجَهَا طَلَّقَهَا فَتَزَوَّجَتْ ثُمَّ جَاءَ زَوْجُهَا فَأَنْكَرَ الطَّلَاقَ قَالَ يُضْرَبَانِ الْحَدَّ وَ يُضَمَّنَانِ الصَّدَاقَ لِلزَّوْجِ ثُمَّ تَعْتَدُّ ثُمَّ تَرْجِعُ إِلَى زَوْجِهَا الْأَوَّلِ .

دو ایسے گواہوں کے بارے میں جنہوں نے ایک عورت کے خلاف گواہی دی کہ اس کے شوہر نے اسے طلاق دے دی ہے، پھر اس نے شادی کر لی، پھر اس کا شوہر آیا اور اس نے طلاق سے انکار کیا — آپ نے فرمایا: 'دونوں کو حد لگائی جائے گی اور دونوں شوہر کے مہر کے ذمہ دار ہوں گے، پھر وہ عدت گزارے گی، پھر اپنے پہلے شوہر کی طرف واپس جائے گی۔'
Translation
Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Ibrahim Bin Abdul Hameed, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> regarding two witnesses testifying upon a woman that her husband has divorced her. So she re-married. Then her husband came and denied the divorce. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘They would both be whipped the legal penalty (<span class="iTxt">Hadd</span>), and would both be responsible for the dowry to the husband. Then she would observe the waiting period, then return to her first husband’.
