سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) عَنِ الصَّبِيِّ هَلْ تَجُوزُ شَهَادَتُهُ فِي الْقَتْلِ قَالَ يُؤْخَذُ بِأَوَّلِ كَلَامِهِ وَ لَا يُؤْخَذُ بِالثَّانِي .
Translation
A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Abu Nasr, from Jameel who said, ‘I asked Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> about the child, is his testimony allowed regarding the killing?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘He would be taken by the first of his speech, and he would not be taken by the second (if he changes his statement)’.
