سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) عَنْ شَهَادَةِ الْأَصَمِّ فِي الْقَتْلِ قَالَ يُؤْخَذُ بِأَوَّلِ قَوْلِهِ وَ لَا يُؤْخَذُ بِالثَّانِي .
Translation
A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Ismail Bin Mahran, from Dorost, from Jameel who said, ‘I asked Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> about the testimony of the deaf regarding the killing. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘He would be taken with the first of his speech, and would not be taken by the second’.
