اتَّقُوا الْحُكُومَةَ فَإِنَّ الْحُكُومَةَ إِنَّمَا هِيَ لِلْإِمَامِ الْعَالِمِ بِالْقَضَاءِ الْعَادِلِ فِي الْمُسْلِمِينَ لِنَبِيٍّ أَوْ وَصِيِّ نَبِيٍّ .

ہمارے بہت سے اصحاب نے سہل بن زیاد سے، انہوں نے محمد بن عیسیٰ سے، انہوں نے ابو عبداللہ المومن سے، انہوں نے ابن مسکان سے، انہوں نے سلیمان بن خالد سے، انہوں نے ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کی کہ آپ نے فرمایا: حکومت سے بچو، کیونکہ حکومت سوائے اس امام کے لیے نہیں جو مسلمانوں میں عادلانہ قضاء سے واقف ہو — یہ کسی نبی یا نبی کے وصی کے لیے ہے۔
Translation
A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Muhammad Bin Isa, from Abu Abdullah Al Momin, from Ibn Muskan, from Suleyman Bin Khalid, Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> has said: ‘Fear the governance, for the governance, but rather it is for the Imam<sup>asws</sup>, the knowledgeable one with the just judgements regarding the Muslims. It is either for a Prophet<sup>as</sup> or a successor<sup>as</sup> of a Prophet<sup>as</sup>’.
