وَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ أَنَّ رَجُلًا نَزَلَ بِأَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ( عليه السلام ) فَمَكَثَ عِنْدَهُ أَيَّاماً ثُمَّ تَقَدَّمَ إِلَيْهِ فِي خُصُومَةٍ لَمْ يَذْكُرْهَا لِأَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ( عليه السلام ) فَقَالَ لَهُ أَ خَصْمٌ أَنْتَ قَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ تَحَوَّلْ عَنَّا إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) نَهَى أَنْ يُضَافَ الْخَصْمُ إِلَّا وَ مَعَهُ خَصْمُهُ .
اردو
ایک شخص امیر المومنین علیہ السلام کے پاس ٹھہرا اور کئی دن ان کے پاس رہا۔ پھر وہ ایک جھگڑے کے سلسلے میں ان کے پاس آیا جس کا ذکر اس نے امیر المومنین علیہ السلام سے پہلے نہیں کیا تھا۔ تو انہوں نے اس سے فرمایا: کیا تم مدعی ہو؟ اس نے کہا: ہاں۔ فرمایا: ہمارے پاس سے چلے جاؤ، بے شک رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ نے منع فرمایا ہے کہ مدعی کو مہمان ٹھہرایا جائے سوائے اس صورت کے کہ اس کا مدعا علیہ بھی ساتھ ہو۔
Translation
And by this chain that, ‘A man lodged with Amir Al-Momineen<sup>asws</sup>, so he remained with him<sup>asws</sup> for days. Then he came to him<sup>asws</sup> with a dispute which he had not mentioned it to Amir Al-Momineen<sup>asws</sup> beforehand. So he<sup>asws</sup> said to him: ‘Are you the claimant?’ He said, ‘Yes’. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘You should transfer out (move out) from us<sup>asws</sup>, as Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> has forbidden to entertain the claimant as a guest, unless the defendant is with him’.
