قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) مَنْ حَلَفَ عَلَى يَمِينٍ وَ هُوَ يَعْلَمُ أَنَّهُ كَاذِبٌ فَقَدْ بَارَزَ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ .

ہمارے بہت سے اصحاب نے احمد بن محمد سے، انہوں نے ابن فضال سے، انہوں نے ثعلبہ بن میمون سے، انہوں نے یعقوب الاحمر سے روایت کی کہ انہوں نے کہا: ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام نے فرمایا: جو کوئی قسم کھائے اور وہ جانتا ہو کہ وہ جھوٹا ہے، تو اس نے اللہ عزوجل سے مقابلہ کیا۔
Translation
A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ibn Fazzal, from sa’alba Bin Maymoun, from Yaqoub Al Ahmar who said, ‘Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘The one who swears an oath and he knows that he is a liar, so he has dueled against Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic’.
