لَا يُسْتَحْلَفُ الرَّجُلُ إِلَّا عَلَى عِلْمِهِ .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Abdullah Bin Al Mugheira, from Khalid Bin Ayman Al Hannat, from Abu Baseer, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘The man must not be made to swear except what is based upon his knowledge’.
